News from the Path Valley Hotel, Episode #40 – A Full Moon Quiz !

It’s here again- full moon! If you read my August posts (Dancing Naked in the Moonlight or Spa Special: Blue Moontanning), you know this is my favorite night of the month. I’m a howler, I admit it, and I’m an enabler when it comes to encouraging others to drop their inhibitions and their skivvies to revel in the moonlight. The temperatures are dipping now; in fact the night can be a real weenie shrinker (in the vernacular of Wacky Weather Man,  Harris Telemacher). I’m not going to recommend dancing naked tonight and the spa special expired the morning of September 1st so what else can we do?

The Path Valley Hotel is never at a loss for engaging entertainment so tonight we’re going to celebrate some other ways the moon has insinuated herself into our culture and our memories. Feel free to play along at home! I’m listing 20 moon-related references and giving you the chance to excavate some answers. When you think you have them all, e-mail me at I promise an amazing prize to the first five people to get them all correct. (Probably something from my Dollar General or maybe, even better,  something second-hand and chic!) Deadline is midnight EST on Monday, 10/1/12.
